ASR 33 Teletype Disk Monitor Video

This video demonstrates a session with the 4k disk monitor system running on a PDP-8/I. The session shows editing a FORTRAN program, running it as it calculates statistics on data from a paper tape and then using the PAL-D assembler to generate a binary paper tape. More information on session

The disk monitor system was a simple operating system which could run on a PDP-8 with only 4096 (4k) words of memory. It required either a 32k word DF32 disk drive or a DECtape drive.

The video is available in several formats. How to view videos. The video is 2 minutes 41 seconds.
