For better display of the PDP-8 front panel on Unix add the following to your font.properties file in your browser directory, path something like /usr/local/netscape4.5/java/classes/font.properties.
clean.plain.0=-*-clean-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1
clean.italic.0=-*-clean-medium-o-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1
clean.bold.0=-*-clean-bold-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1
clean.bolditalic.0=-*-clean-bold-o-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1
