Editors

• Standard editor was Symbolic Editor which is a line editor. Could edit files larger than memory.
• R – Read in file
• 14L – List line 14
• 14C – Change line 14, type new line contents. Control-Form (^L) terminates entry
• S – Search for character, can change text where found
• ESC (Alt mode)– Search for string, terminate with '
• Q – Write file and exit
• I haven't found one I want to use for significant editing. Tend to edit on PC.
