PDP-8 (Straight 8) Initial Inspection Without Cover
The memory selection matrix cards in the upper left came loose during shipping. Originally they were retained by foam on the black bracket but it had disintegrated. Pieces can be seen near the fan. Deteriorating foam is common in PDP-8's and other equipment of this vintage. The missing cards were all in the packaging so I can put them back.
