PDP-8 (Straight 8) Initial Inspection Top Without Cover
The black box is the 4096x12 bit core memory. The cards on the right of it came loose during shipping. I have all the cards. The memory module is serial number 84 made in 11th week of 1965. At left side there should be a bracket over the silver pins sticking up to act as a hinge for the backplanes so they can fold out for servicing.
