This board contains three gates and three clamped load resistors. The gates may be expanded with a R001 or R002 ( 19K) board. The N in NAND/NOR stands for NOT. The gates output have an inverter so they perform the logic NOT AND for active low or NOT OR for active high signals. The TTL logic family didn't normally allow expansion in the same was as this type of gate but using the 7401 open collector gate NAND gate a similar function could be performed.
This board cost $14 in 1968.
