Top view of RK05 disk platter. This disk shows the damage from either dirt on heads or the head contacting the disk (head crash). This does not look like it was severe enough to destroy the heads but I don't know since I acquired the disk in this condition. If no aluminum is showing and the surface is flat the disk may be safe to mount but I wouldn't want to risk it.
