The program which was being entered in the previous picture has successfully printed JASON. The first attempt had an error in entry which could be the computer being difficult or an entry error. After it was corrected the program worked.
For demonstration I had a program running on the PDP-8 which punched what people typed as block letters on paper tape which they could take as a souvenir. A sample is lying on the teletype.
