This shows an example of testing a card. The red LED on the transistor tester in the lower right shows the transistor is functional. The knob can give a rough estimate of the transistor gain by its position when the LED goes off. The top meter is measuring a diode forward drop. .6 is normal for silicon diodes. The last meter is measuring a resistor. Its value should be 3k. Most of the resistors are 10% so 3.15k is within tolerance. This photo shows the measurements I make but I don't really make multiple measurements at once like shown. I use the standard meter leads to sequentially check each diode and resistor. Since holding on test leads and taking a picture doesn't work well I used clip on leads for the photo. Depending on how much lead is available I either clip on the transistors like shown or just hold them against the leads or solder pads.
